BARRY ROCHKIND FUNERAL
SET FOR TUESDAY 12/16
IT IS WITH SAD HEART AND MANY MEMORIES THAT WE REPORT THE PASSING OF BARRY ROCHKIND.

BARRY WAS LONG-TIME MEMBER AND PAST PRESIDENT OF CONGREGATION BETH JACOB SYNAGOGUE.

FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT
CONGREGATION BETH JACOB CEMETERY
AT 3:00 PM THIS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16,
LED BY RABBI TODD DOCTOR.
I am very sad to report the passing of Irving Pozmantier (1930-2025) on Oct 11th.
He enjoyed the bragging rights of being the first circumcision at Congregation Beth Jacob.
Irving was so generous with CBJ, never refusing me his support on any worthy cause. Thus the beautiful Pozmantier Foyer, leading to the Sanctuary.
When he and his son came to see the newly refurbished foyer bearing his
name, Kathleen Sukiennik was kind enough to meet him there. He gave her another sizeable check for Beth Jacob, saying that was to pay his dues for the next five years.
Kathleen, was that five years ago?
Most recently we had his support on the High Holidays.
What a legacy he left!

It is with sadness we report the passing of Luna Hamo,
mother of Shlomo Hamo, in Tel Aviv.
A memorial service will be held for her at
Congregation Beth Jacob Synagogue
in the Bulba-Graber-Chapel
following the October 18th Shabbat service.
